Nagesh Baba, a veteran Film Maker is a science graduate hailing from Bengaluru, India. Initially he was a short story writer. His radio plays and short stories were broadcasted through All India Radio [ A.I.R.]

He entered the film industry as an Assistant Director and has worked for many South-Indian films. In early 1960’s, he was an active participant of the course on screen play writing for television conducted by British Film Historian Mr. Roger Manwell. This project was sponsored by Government of India.

He produced and directed many feature films. Later his own film studio company served as Cine Still Photographers to many Ace Film Directors of various Indian languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telegu movies.

Nagesh Baba has made documentary films on many renowned singers, artists & legendary writers & also on varied subjects such as journalism, women in sericulture, staff training for banks, manufacturing of gold etc.

With his simple, kind hearted and ever learning attitude, he is working in the Film Industry for more than 55 years. He is also a recipient of prestigious RNR Award. During this journey of 77 years, he has crossed many hurdles and seen ups & downs. Since early 2000, he was deeply into the teachings of Advaita-Vedanta & was especially touched by the teachings of Shree Nisargadatta through many of his books.

His untiring attitude & creative excellence has made the subtler teachings of Nisargadatta simpler & easily understandable.
He is one of the enthusiastic members of AbideInSelf Team which worked effortlessly for a period of more than 15 months.

B. Nagesh Baba is an indispensible part of AbideInSelf Revelations Team as a Screenplay writer and Film Director.

Chidananda studied in one of the oldest famous institution Jayachamarajendra Polytechnic, Bengaluru, India. Many renowned Cinematographers of Indian Cinema studied in the same institute.

He had his initial experience in Karnataka Film Corporation as an assistant cameraman. He had the opportunity in working on varied subjects such as science fiction, Ad Films, many documentaries in corporate sector, reality shows, sporting events for last 18 years.

As a young Cinematographer through the films Nirgunache Bheti in Marathi & Tatvamasi in English, Chidananda has captured nature in its true glory & splendour. His framing of the shots and movements are so exemplary that it leaves the audience spellbound.

Rajkumar hails from the family of musicians. His father was a singer, famous harmonium player & a comedy film artist. Rajkumar at the age of 14 years won the coveted National Award for the best child artist for acting in the film “Ramu” produced by AVM Studio, Chennai.

Later he entered the musical arena as an accordion & synthesizer player. In a short span of time he became a leading musician. He had the privilege of working for the last 25 years with veteran music directors like M. S. Vishwanathan, Sathyam, Ilayaraja and A. R. Rehman, an Oscar Award Winner.

He has the honour of working as a top musician in many Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada and Malayalam. He is rated as one of the best musicians of Indian Cinema. The renowned Indian music director duo ‘Shankar-Jaikishan’ is his “Manasa-Guru”.

His musical experience made him give his best in composing the tunes for the songs. His remarkable original background musical score for the films is truly soothing, soulful & divine.

A multi-dimensional Aquarian who is involved in every aspect of the film like searching of rare, old images & data, sourcing of appropriate softwares, conversion of video & audio files, noise reduction & enhancement of audio files, editing of short audio clippings of Nisargadatta, designing of website and many important back end technical activities. His creative, multi tasking ability and ever enthusiastic nature with love towards the work is simply remarkable. He is one of the key people involved in research work for the films.

He is an ardent lover & a disciple of Nisargadatta and feels blessed to be exposed to Nisargadatta’s literature & teachings.
